Terms & Conditions

By accessing or placing an order on shop.onlineindia.tech (the “Platform”), you (“Customer” / “User”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or place an order.
  • You must be a resident of India. We ship only within India.
  • By placing an order you represent that all information provided is accurate and that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

3. Products & Pricing

  • All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable GST as per the Goods & Services Tax Act, 2017.
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Product images are for illustration purposes; actual appearance may vary slightly.
  • We reserve the right to cancel orders if a pricing error is identified; a full refund will be issued in such cases.
  • Stock availability is not guaranteed until payment is confirmed.

4. Orders & Payment

  • An order is confirmed only upon successful payment or payment of the COD advance charge.
  • We accept the following payment methods via Razorpay: UPI, Credit / Debit Card, Net Banking, Wallets, and EMI (including cardless EMI).
  • COD (Cash on Delivery) orders require a non-refundable advance shipping charge of ₹200 paid online at the time of order. The remaining balance is paid in cash at the time of delivery. The ₹200 advance is forfeited if delivery is refused without valid reason.
  • Bank Transfer orders are dispatched only after payment receipt is verified, which typically takes 1–2 hours on business days.
  • Payments are processed securely by Razorpay Software Private Limited and are subject to Razorpay's terms of service. We do not store card or UPI details on our servers.

5. Shipping & Delivery

We offer free shipping on all orders via Bluedart. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, public holidays, natural calamities, or factors beyond our control. We are not liable for delays attributable to the logistics partner. See our Shipping Policy for full details.

6. Returns & Refunds

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery for products in original, undamaged, sealed condition with all accessories and original packaging. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 are not affected by this policy. See our Return & Refund Policy for full eligibility criteria and the refund process.

7. Warranty

Products are sold with the manufacturer's warranty where applicable. Warranty claims must be initiated directly with the manufacturer or an authorised service centre. We assist customers in initiating warranty claims on a best-effort basis. Warranty does not cover physical damage, liquid damage, or damage due to misuse.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Platform — including text, graphics, logos, product images, and software — is the property of ONLINE INDIA or its licensors and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ONLINE INDIA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform or products purchased hereon. Our aggregate liability in any event shall not exceed the value of the specific order giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

10. Privacy

Your use of this Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We handle your personal data in compliance with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 under the Information Technology Act, 2000.

11. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Applicable Law

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, including but not limited to:

  • The Indian Contract Act, 1872
  • The Sale of Goods Act, 1930
  • The Consumer Protection Act, 2019
  • The Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020
  • The Information Technology Act, 2000
  • The Legal Metrology Act, 2009
  • The Goods & Services Tax Act, 2017 (and allied legislation)

Exclusive Jurisdiction

Subject to the dispute resolution procedure below, you agree that the courts and tribunals located in Thane, Maharashtra, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or their subject matter or formation. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence as permitted under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any formal proceedings, both parties agree to make a genuine effort to resolve any dispute amicably within 30 days of written notice of the dispute. If resolution is not achieved within that period:

  1. Consumer disputes — You may file a complaint with the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (District / State / National) as per the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or use the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) at 1800-11-4000 or the consumerhelpline.gov.in portal.
  2. Commercial disputes — Any dispute shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration at Thane, Maharashtra, conducted in English.

Online Dispute Resolution (ODR)

In line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, you may also avail yourself of India's online dispute resolution platforms or the National Internet Exchange of India's ODR mechanisms for e-commerce disputes.
